Our project was on an Acacia chopping board , measuring approx. 300mm by 220mm and 18mm thick.
we carved the Police Scotland Logo into the wood around 3mm deep, The Police Officer’s name and service details were Vcarved into the board.
We then mixed food safe clear epoxy resin with a hint of black to give a darkness to the carvings.
We then sanded with 180 grit sandpaper before finishing with a coat of mineral oil.
This was a great project to work on, and we liked getting the detail of the logo into the wood.
